I do not aim to specialise in any particular field of photography, seeing all areas as equally exciting challenges in which to extend the creative process. I have embraced advances in photographic technology, aiming always to achieve the highest level of both artistic and technical output. The opportunity to concentrate on photographic projects and travel has enabled me to broaden my portfolio.
After a long-standing passion for photography, I became an Associate of The Royal Photographic Society (ARPS) in Visual Art in 1996 and gained an RPS Fellowship (FRPS) in Nature in 2008. I have gained EFIAP (Excellence of the International Federation of Photographic Art) and DPAGB (Distinction of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain).
As well as exhibiting and winning awards in national and international exhibitions and publication in magazines and guides, I have also been a judge at various exhibitions and have served on the RPS Travel Distinctions Associate and Fellowship Panel.
I am a UK photographer based in the Blackdown Hills AONB in East Devon.
